The Night as seen by Emily Brown

Term 3 2015

In Room 1 we have been reading the book Emily Brown and the thing. Emily tried to find the thing's cuddly. She went out into the woods at night and this is what she saw. We used chalk and some brown paper to describe what the night looked like to Emily

Jashaia drew the stars in the night sky

Reiko drew the moon which Emily saw in the sky.

Ahmed used chalk to draw the night sky.

Healy drew the tree where Emily found the cuddly.

Kreschard drew the moon in the night.

Paul described what Emily saw outside in the woods

  1. Kia ora Hanly Class,
How fantastic to see your first blog post!
I really enjoyed reading about the learning you are doing with Mrs Jacob! Your art work has made me want to find out more about Emily Brown and the thing. Do you think I could read the book after you have finished it? Do you think it would be a good book for me to read to the children in my classroom?
