Taha Wairua - Our spiritual health

Taha Wairua is our spiritual health. Some of the ways to strengthen this is by making connections with nature and noticing things out there.

So we decided to take a walk outside and collect things like twigs, leaves, flowers and rocks on the ground and create a beautiful piece of art.

Helping Hands

Schuler Class has been discussing and learning about what our helping hands can do to make our world a happy place. Here are our stories.....

Making bread

Last week was lot of fun learning to make bread.

Instead of baking we fried them in oil, yummy!

                                 Two lots of dough

Ready to be fried

Rolled my dough mixture into a little ball

All about me

We are learning about ourselves, who we are and sharing this with others

Here are our T- shirts that tells you what we are good at

Cricket

Every Wedenesday we have cricket coaching, we learn all the skills that we need by playing fun games.

Comparing the height of objects

We have been learning about comparing objects by size and their height. Everyone built their own towers with blocks and measured them with our hands and cubes to check how tall they were.

Wheels Day

Last week we had wheels day. It was so much fun to bring our wheels to school and ride along with our friends. Some of us had scooters and some of us had our bikes.

Our brand new seats

Schuler Class is super excited to get these brand new seats in our TV area, very comfortable and cosy.
